Honda City, the safest C Segment sedan!

Honda City Sedan has always been the pride and glory of Honda Motors. This sedan was pretty successful as soon as it came into the car market. Indian consumers couldn’t think of any premium sedan other than Honda City. But due to high demand of diesel cars, the car sales started dipping slowly. But with the refreshed version rolled out, the Honda City sales augmented and came up on the top spot. Recently, it added another feather on the cap by receiving the highest score by ASEAN NCAP safety rating, which made it the safest C-Segment sedan in the country today. The sedan managed to grab a five-star safety rating, which made Honda City move up on the notch.

So what made Honda City Sedan fetch high class safety ratings from ASEAN NCAP? Well, the sedan has been blessed with numerous superior safety features. The major highlights here comprise of pedestrians’ safety along with dual SRS front airbags, Anti-Lock braking system, Electronic Brake Force Distribution System, Active headrests, rear defogger, crumple zones, seat belts for all, and the list is quite long.

The car is available in India only in petrol engine option. Under the hood here, you would find a 1.5-Litre i-VTEC petrol motor that delivers high class mileage and decent fuel economy. If you wish to drive with automatic transmission, the sedan is offered with a five-speed automatic transmission option as well. Above and beyond Honda City’s high class safety rating, Honda India rolled out the fourth generation Honda CR-V for a price tag of Rs. 19.95 lakh. The SUV has launched in four variants with two engine options- 2.0L and 2.4L. New styling and dynamic structure on the outside do charm the onlooker along with sophisticated interiors is one of the most exciting part of the new Honda CR-V SUV.

Also, the firm in Australia introduced Limited Edition Jazz. Two variants namely Vibe and Vibe S are rolled out in the Australian car market. Honda Jazz Vibe features traits like 15 inches of alloy wheels, reworked bumpers, roof spoiler, cruise control, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, electronically controlled ORVMs, climate control and paddle shifts for the automatic variant. On the other hand, the Honda Jazz Vibe S variant would be seen with 16 inches of alloy wheels, turn indicators incorporated on the ORVMs, and cloth trim on the inside.
