The same kind of strategy came into limelight prior to the launch of new Honda Jazz, at that point also a whopping discount of Rs 1.5 Lakhs was observed on the older version of hatchback Jazz. And it sold like hot selling cakes.
As of now, the company hasn’t come up with any official announcement, it seems that the firm will again walk on the lines of Jazz clearance sales and let its dealerships carry out the discount process.

The top selling sedan in the C-segment Honda City has seen good sales volumes since it got the descended price revision from the company in the start of this year; which many believe, that it is the effect of localization. Whatever may be the reasons the price revise has proven good for the consumer and even better for the company as they are able to maintain the aggressive pricing at the existing level.
