Honda Jazz diesel to be displayed at 2013 Tokyo Motor Show
After the huge success of Honda Amaze compact sedan, the Japanese auto major, Honda is shifting focus on their another popular car models like Honda Jazz, Brio, City and Civic. The company has given new breath to its popular premium hatchback Jazz with facelifted version that will soon be displayed at 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The next generation version of the vehicle will be offered with two petrol and two diesel engine choices!

According to reports, the new 2014 Honda Jazz with both petrol and diesel engine options would be launched in India by mid 2014. After that the auto giant will bring out a diesel avatar of small car, Brio for domestic market. It is reported that 2014 version of the Jazz hatchback will be launched with 1.2 and 1.4 liter i-VTEC petrol engines while the diesel model will be made available with 1.5 and 1.6 liter i-DTEC diesel engines but the Indian customers will be getting it with only 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options.
The new 2014 Honda Jazz is based on a Global Compact Series Platform which gets a new front grille and re-freshed body design. It will be equipped with new designed wheel arches which are based on Concept S and Urban SUV Concept. Interiors of the vehicle will also be more premium and comfortable as it will come equipped with innovative features, customized Seats and boot space. In Indian domestic market the 1.5L diesel engine avatar of the Jazz hatchback will be a major rival of Maruti Swift, Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Etios Liva and Chevrolet Sail UVA.
