Honda Jazz: launch scheduled for next year
The rumors were high that Japanese auto giant Honda will launch the new Honda Jazz hatchback in Indian car market after it was unveiled in the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2014. But now it has been confirmed by authentic sources of company that it will launch the all new Jazz in Indian car market by the end of next financial year, which means sometimes during the months of January and March 2015. The company had launched the same car in its native market in September 2013. The upcoming Jazz will be offered in both petrol and diesel guises, with petrol variant equipped with 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine while diesel trim be bestowed with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine.

According to industry experts the main reason behind the delay in launch of new Honda Jazz in Indian car market may due to launch of its other sibling Honda Mobilio MPV which is expected to launch in market in the ongoing year. It is also possible that company will start the production of Jazz at its Tapukara plant located in Rajasthan, where company will be also manufacturing Honda Amaze and Honda Mobilio.
This news from Honda may disappoint the car aspirants but it would be better to enjoy the driving of Jazz immediately after its launch rather than booking it and waiting for long.
