Honda showcases Jazz during Tokyo Motor Show

Japanese auto maker Honda Motors has showcased the new Honda Jazz/Fit during on-going Tokyo Motor Show, and according to reports the same model will also be displayed during the upcoming Auto Expo 2014. The new Honda Jazz will be accompanied it’s another sibling Honda Mobilio. Reports also reveal that Honda will unveil Jazz in both petrol and diesel variants in Indian car market of which the petrol variant will be energized with 1.2 litre i-VTEC engine whereas the diesel variant will be energized with 1.5 litre diesel engine. It is speculated that the price of petrol variant will start from Rs. 4.7 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi) and diesel variant will start with price tag of Rs. 6.7 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi).

Moving towards the features mounted in Indian version of Honda Jazz are concerned it is rumored that new Jazz will receive longer base so as to provide comfort seating experience to passengers. With this the aerodynamic architecture enhances the looks of new Jazz which along with light weight makes it easier for person to enjoy a user friendly drive.

Talking about engine specifications reports received from sources reveal that engines of both petrol and diesel variant will be energized with same engines that are present in Honda Brio and Honda Amaze. The safety features adorned in Jazz 2014 include VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), HSA (Hill-Start Assist) and the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).
