Hyundai Exter Comes Loaded With Bunch Of Features
Hyundai India has launched its highly-awaited micro SUV Exter in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh for the base variant and going high up to Rs 9.31 lakh for the top-end variant. Both prices are ex-showroom prices. The company has started deliveries of Exter with its launch. It is offered in seven trims namely - EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, and SX (O). According to reports, both these prices are introductory.

Under the hood, Exeter gets power from a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, similar to one offered in Graind i10, NIOS and Aura. This engine generates the power of 83 PS @6,000 rpm and a torque of 114 Nm @4,000 rpm. The transmission duties include the option of a five-speed manual gearbox system and also five-speed AMT system. The micro-SUV is also available with an option of a company-fitted CNG kit boosting the power of 69 PS and 95.2 Nm.
Talking about features available in Exter, the features like an infotainment system, electronic sunroof, push-button start/stop, wireless phone charger, title steering, automatic AC, rear AC vents, rear-power windows, front fast USB charger (c-type) eco-coating, cooled glove-box, luggage lamp, and rear wiper and washer aren’t available in based variants E and EX (0). These variants receive an eight-inch digital cluster with a colour TFT-MID (multi-information display) and support multiple regional UI languages.
The other trims are equipped with features like an eight-inch HD infotainment system that supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Home-to-Car (H2C) with Alexa integration, BlueLink connectivity, ambient sounds of nature, leather-wrapped gear knob, OTA updates for maps and infotainment system, motor-drive power steering, and a few more. All these features are available according to the price of a particular trim.
On the safety front, it receives features like six airbags, ABS+EBD, speed-sending auto door lock, seat belt reminder, engine immobilizer, high-speed alert system, emergency stop, seat belt pretensioners and load limiters. Other safety features include a hill start assist control system, electronic stability control system, parking assist system, automatic headlamps, Isofix child seat anchors, and rear defogger. These features are available according to the trim selected by the buyer.
