Hyundai Santa Fe goes Fluidic after i20

Hyundai Fluidic design will soon be the characteristic design of Hyundai cars in Indian and across the globe. The Korean car maker has made the fluidic design debut in Hyundai Verna Fluidic and now there are reports that Hyundai Santa Fe is also getting a facelift accordingly. This Hyundai SUV has recently been caught testing in snow filled Arctic region. Besides, the Santa Fe, the Hyundai i20 has also been on the target for a Fluidic reformation by Hyundai. The SUV Santa Fe is available in India and gives a strong one on one to Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan X Trail and Ford Endeavour.

Compared to new Hyundai i20 that has received some touches of the fluidic design, the Santa Fe can be comfortably called as a true Fluidic avatar after its flagship car Hyundai Verna Fluidic. The new Santa Fe SUV that may be called as ix45 will be both powerful and performing besides being frugal. It is expected that a 2.0L four pot petrol engine will adorn the new Santa Fe and will help unleash the true power of the SUV. The engine is a 274 bhp 364Nm one will be giving the Hyundai SUV great thrust to overcome any tough terrain. The Santa Fe diesel will be a 2L turbocharged one with a power of 150 hp. This engine will be Euro 6 compliant.

The test vehicle that was spotted in the snow filled terrain had a camouflaged cloak on it but still the fluidic lines were clearly visible. The front chrome grille was distinctly visible. The headlamps and other things on the front and rear closely resemble the fluidic nature of design. In India, the Hyundai Santa Fe is available starting at Rs 21 lakh and is brought to India through the completely knocked down route.
