Hyundai Veloster called back yet again; zero emission vehicle in the pipeline

Hyundai Veloster isn’t experiencing a good time since last year! In December 2012, Hyundai Motors recalled more than 13500 Velosters, reason being the chances of shattering of panoramic sunroof when car is in action. Sadly, the car maker had to recall about 6071 units of the car yet again for the same reason, as per the media reports. The first lot of Veloster which was called back last year included the model produced between 1st Nov, 2011 to 17th April, 2012. This time around, the Hyundai Veloster manufactured during 4th July 2012 to 31st October 2012 are being recalled.

The panoramic sunroofs are apparently not installed properly during the manufacturing, which increases the chances of being shattered when in motion. Therefore, not taking any risks, Hyundai will call back the Hyundai Veloster models from next month, where dealers will take care of the problem and fix the issue free of cost.

Apart from this, Hyundai Motors is happy with the stuff going on for it. The company is all set to manufacture zero emissions, hydrogen powered cars. The first one to come out from the stable would be Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell Vehicle. This will be a C-Segment SUV, which would arrive in the global car market in 2015 and would initially be available for the European car market. This car will generate power using water. The drivability and the performance will be close to what is delivered by Hyundai ix35 petrol variant. This would have a pickup and acceleration that would leave impressed for sure. Apparently, the innovative Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell vehicle is all set to show its face at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that is scheduled to take place in March 2013.
