India bound new Ford Figo launched in Brazil
The highly anticipated KA concept hatchback aka Ford Figo from American car maker Ford Motors has been finally launched in Brazilian car market. In Brazil the refreshed version of Figo has been named as Ford KA and has been launched in two variants namely Ford KA SE priced INR, 9,52,374 and Ford KA SEL costing INR 10,76, 164. With this launch it is confirmed that the comany will launch new Figo in Indian car market earlier next year.

In Brazil the Ford KA has been offered only in petrol version which is equipped with 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine boosting the power of 85 bhp and torque of 107 Nm. The engine has been mated with five speed manual gearbox forwarding the power to front wheels. In Indian car market it is expected that hatchback will undergo only cosmetic changes and will be offered in existing variants with same engine configurations.
Physically the new Figo carries most of its looks from the Figo Concept showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. The basic difference only between the version of Figo showcased during the auto expo and the version launched in Brazilian car market is integration of chrome elements. The Brazilian Figo KA does not contain any of the chrome elements on its body. However the Indian version will be embellished with chrome elements. The headlights have also received the new look as compared to concept of Indian Auto Expo. It is believed that Indian version of Figo will be blessed with various necessary safety measures.
