India bound next generation Ford Endeavour to be unveiled next month
After showcasing generation next Ford Endeavour aka Everest during Bangkok Motor Show 2014 concluded six months earlier, the car maker Ford is ready to unveil Endeavour aka Everest during the second week of November 2014. According to sources Ford Endeavour which is being sold as Everest in some parts of world would make its debut in Indian car market sometimes during the first quarter of next year.
The upgraded version of Endeavour aka Evert would be energized with new powerful engine options of 2.5 litre and 3.0 litre diesel engine and mated with six speed manual gearbox along with new automatic transmission system. In Indian car market the SUV would be brought through completely knocked down (CKD) route as the existing version of Endeavour is being brought. After launch the next generation of Endeavour aka Everest would compete against Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Santa Fe and Ssangyong Rexton. According to sources of car maker the new version of Everest will further strengthen company’s strategy of global growth.
