Interiors of India Bound Honda City ZX Leaked Ahead of Launch
Despite the proposed launch of Honda City ZX delayed to the effects of COVID-19, it doesn’t mean that car aspirants should be deprived of any latest updates associated with the luxurious car. It would be interesting to know that recently the brochure of the same has leaked online detailing the features that would be offered in the ZX variant. The major changes introduced in this top-end variant of Honda City are mentioned below:

Engine: Under the hood, it will be equipped BS-VI compliant engine configurations in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will get 1.5 liter, i-VTEC engine boosting the power of 119 bhp, while the diesel variant will be empowered with 1.5 liter i-DTEC engine that will generate the power of 99 bhp. This time the diesel variant will also receive a CVT transmission system, as offered in the diesel variant of Amaze. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh.
Interior Features: According to the information revealed in the brochure, the ZX will be equipped with some remarkable features in the segment. Besides, being equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, it will be the first car within the country to have Alexa Remote. Along with this, it will also be embellished with Honda Connect technology, which facilitates the connectivity through applications.
The seven inch HD, full-color MID will have an analogue speedometer and tachometer. A steering mounted audio control system and cruise control system will be offered as new features. Moving ahead, it will also leather seats and a powered sunroof, which missed in the outgoing version. To add more ambiance inside the car, it will be also equipped with padded materials for the dashboard. It is reported as one of the spacious sedans in the country after launch.
Safety Features: On the safety terms, it will LED headlight, LED tail-lights, electronic stability program, six airbags, traction control, and hill-start assist system, six-airbags. Moving ahead, it will have three-point seatbelts for the rear middle passenger, low-tyre-pressure warning, reverse camera, followed Honda’s Lane Watch Camera as offered in the Civic sedan. This is going to be an important feature to be introduced in a car as going to driving habits of Indian bikers overtaking the vehicle from the wrong direction will help is controlling the crash.
