Jaguar to bring in BMW 3 Series, Audi Q5 rivals by 2015
Jaguar seems to have new plans to settle some scores with its German rivals such as Audi and BMW. As per the buzz, the British car maker will be pitching in cars that will rivals the Audi Q5 and the recently refreshed BMW 3 Series. These will be part of the new car development for which fresh funds have been pumped. Where these new Jaguar cars will be increasing its presence across segments, it will also be helping the car brand in strengthening its global presence and specially when despite being a strong brand, it is way back than others in some respects.

Out of the two products the Jaguar will be developing, one is a five seater crossover that will be a close rival of Audi Q5 and the all time famous BMW X3. This Jaguar crossover will be enabling the car maker to establish itself and barge into a segment that is under the dominance of these two SUV giants. As per industry experts, if Jaguar has thought of bringing rivals to these cars, it is far more than certainty that the car will be top of the class and worth a buy than the rivals. However, price consideration will be deciding the fate of the Jaguar SUV. An early 2015 debut is what is said to be on cards.

Another car product that the car maker will be developing will target the new generation BMW 3 Series that is also the best selling sedan by the German car maker. This too is scheduled for a 2015 launch and the new Jaguar sedan will be positioned somewhere below the Jaguar XF sedan and is seen as a replacement of the Jaguar X-Type sedan that went out of production some time back. The estimated price and other details of the new Jaguar car is still unknown.
