JLR to recall Evoque and Freelander in China
December seems to be a month of recall besides being a month slow on sales. The latest recall has been the recall of over 337 Jaguar Land Rover cars in China. As per the details available, only specific Jaguar cars produced on specific dates are included in the recall. These are Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Range Rover Freelander produced on specific dates this year. It is said that these cars were found to have been fitted with low quality parts which could worn out soon and cause danger to the occupants. Since these parts belong to the steering and brake mechanism the danger is more.

It is said that there is accidental use of low quality parts in these cars and this causes danger of these parts to not to function properly or get damaged during operation causing the car to lose its balance. It is noteworthy that after the slowdown in Europe, there has been a drop in demand and so the company has strengthened its operations in other markets of the world. This recall is said to strengthen the commitment of Tata Motors owned JLR towards quality and safety of its car buyers.
