Lamborghini Aventador Roadster launch slated at the Geneva Motor Show
Those who have missed a ‘2.9 seconds to revolution’ Lamborghini Aventador on roads can have it now as the Italian sportscar manufacturer will soon be unveiling the roadster version of the Aventador. Born to compete with Ferrari cars, Lamborghini has since 1963 given some of the best racing cars. The Aventador, 700PS car can reach 100kmph speed in just 2.9 seconds. The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 price in India starts at Rs 4.12 crore and is available in India whereas Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster is expected to be launched in India and across the globe in mid of this year.
As per sources, the Lamborghini Aventador roadster sportscar will be launched at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Assembled at the company’s plant in Italy, Lamborghini Aventador was initially launched in 2011 and since then it has created history in the sports car arena with an 0-100 kmph acceleration in only 2.9 seconds. The 700PS car is a two door two seater with the engine placed in the mid of the car. The four wheel car is available in the sports model and with the announcement of the roadster model, Lamborghini expects to fulfill the adrenaline boost demands of a lot of car buyers.
The Aventador similar to its sibling Lamborghini Murcielago will have limited production (4000 units) of its roadster model. The Aventador Roadster is expected to inherit the same petrol powered 700PS engine from its coupe car. Thus it means that the same power and performance that is on the race track will be apparent on the road as well. The ten airbags ensure that the occupants remain in a cocoon even in the event of a crash. The overall dimensions will also remain the same however, the weight will considerably reduce giving the car more acceleration and performance.
