Lang Lang becomes Volkswagen Group ambassador
One of world’s most renowned pianist Lang Lang has been appointed as the cultural ambassador of the Germany based leading car maker Volkswagen. In an interesting collaboration, the music maestro Lang Lang will be using the Volkswagen cars whenever arriving at his concert in any part of the world. The latest collaboration can be considered a big step ahead by the Volkswagen in the direction of emphasizing their commitment towards culture.

The company is looking forward to strengthen the intensive and constructive dialog between the industry and art. The company already has a number of cultural partnerships with the likes of the dOCUMENTA, Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and MOMA PS1 located in New York.
Speaking on the appointment of Lang Lang as their cultural ambassador, Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Executive Chairman of Volkswagen AG, said that he is a unique musician and is a role model for masses around the world. In July this year, Lang Lang was awarded with the German Federal Cross of Merit for his outstanding work and support for German musical culture.
