Latest updates regarding new Honda City

With launching date January 7, 2014 of new Honda City coming closer curiosity among the car enthusiasts is increasing and this curiosity gets fire with recent updates and new leaks about the car. The recent update which has come out regarding the highly awaited sedan is display of latest brochure of car on various auto portals. Apart from revealing information regarding its performance the brochure also details about the fuel consumption information according to which the diesel variant is endorsed to deliver an average of 26 kmpl whereas petrol engine will deliver an average of 18 kmpl. The petrol variant will be furnished with 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine developing the power of 116 bhp and torque of 146 bhp and will be offered in manual and CVT automatic transmission system. Similarly the diesel variant will be equipped with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine which is similar to diesel engine adhered in Amaze producing the power of 98 bhp and torque of 200 and will be coated with five speed manual transmission system. The diesel variant is said to be one of the fuel efficient sedans available in Indian car market.
 
 
While designing the architecture of the new Honda City, Japanese car maker has continued the design of existing City with new upgrades for instance the front lamps have been enlarged followed by newly designed rear bumper. Similarly the same interior features have been retained with few tweaks which include electric sunroof, automatic air conditioner, push start stop, cruise control, two air bags, and ABS + EBD.

With an objective of facilitating customers to enjoy the driver of their favorite car with its launch Honda had commenced the priority booking of City on the payment of Rs.51, 000 with an option of refunding the amount if the customer prefers to cancel his booking.
