Launch of generation next Honda Jazz slated for next year
Earlier it was speculated that after successful launch of Honda Mobilio in Indian car market, Japanese car maker Honda Motors will come up with the refreshed version of its hatchback Jazz in Indian car market by this year end. But the latest industry reports reveal that the hatchback would make its entrance in Indian car market sometimes during next year. In the words of Mr. Hironori Kanayama, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Limited, last year company has announced to launch Mobilio MPV and refreshed version of Jazz in Indian car market during ongoing year. But going through the high demand of other vehicles in portfolio company is not in position to decide the exact time for launching the new Jazz in Indian car market. Mr. Kanayama also added that it is now speculated that company might launch next generation anytime during the next year.
Jazz in Indian car market was launched five years back in 2009 in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 7 lakh, however going through its high price tag as compared to the then other hatchbacks its prices were brought down to Rs. 1.6 lakh. According to Mr. Kanayama company is planning to add 100 more dealers across the country and touch the mark of 300 dealers from existing 200 dealers by end of March of 2016.
