Locally assembled Jaguar XJ launched, priced Rs. 92.1 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai)
Tata Motors the Indian alliance of British luxurious car maker Jaguar has launched the luxurious sedan Jaguar XJ in Indian car market with basic price of Rs. 92.1 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). The sedan was showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 and has been locally assembled in Indian car market to make it affordable for XJ aspirants. Therefore the vehicle will be brought in Indian car market through Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route.
The sedan is energized with 2993 cc diesel 6 cylinder engine churning the power of 275 PS and torque of 600 Nm. The sedan is capable to attain the speed from standstill to 100 Kmh within the span of 6.4 seconds and is coated with 8 speed ZF automatic transmission system. The erstwhile version of luxurious sedan was brought through Completely Built-Up Route and was sold with price tag of Rs. 1, 16,00,000.
The car will be equipped with various awesome features which are offered in the interiors of luxurious sedan. The interiors will receive Meridian audio system, soft grain leather, navigation system along with LCD display front and rear parking camera. In Indian car market the sedan will receive tough competition from luxurious sedans offered by German car makers like Mercedes Benz and BMW. These companies have already their vehicles running on Indian roads and brought through CKD route.
