Mahindra First Choice- Used Cars sale to cross one lakh mark by 2014

A top-notch company official from Mahindra First Choice Wheels Limited which is supposed to be expanding its multi-brand previously used car business; announced its business plans to trade approximately one lakh pre-owned cars till 2014.


Ashesh Dhar, vice president (operations) informed the media that the company is aiming to sell around one lakh used cars till 2014. Also there are business plan targets for this financial year to satisfy Indian customers with 50,000 cars.

Adding further Mr. Dhar said that the current market rate is influenced under increased inflation and amplified interest rates due to this the expected used car market industry growth is by a mere 15 percent while comparing to last financial capital year the market growth rate was 20 percent.

Also enlightening us with the factual data he added that in India approximately 25 lakh pre-owned cars were purchased by customers.

In addition to his valuable speech Dhar said that the detailed and organised previously owned car market is growing at an amazing rate of 50 percent, in this Mahindra First Choice carries 10 percent of the organised pre-owned car market in the country. While expanding the rural not only in 20 top cities of India the company is determined to extend their services to rural folks by setting up extensions there.

Brilliant marketing strategies are being followed to expand the dealerships from the present 136 dealers to an increased number of 300 within a time span of three years as told by Dhar.
