Mahindra KUV100: At a Glance
Domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra is already on seventh sky due to over whelming response received by compact SUV TUV300 launched few months back in 2015, and now with an objective to continue that success M&M is not leaving any stone unturned to promote its upcoming mini SUV codenamed as KUV100 which is expected to make its debut in Indian car market on January 15, 2016. Although the details of vehicle have been already leaked in cyber world but recently some more details pertaining to it landed on various platforms.
Developed under the new engine configuration mFalcon the petrol variant of KUV100 will be empowered with mFalcon G80 1.2 litre petrol engine reported to develop the power of 82 bhp and torque of 114Nm while the diesel will bestoe mFlacon D75 1.2 litre diesel engine churning the power of 77 bhp and torque of 190Nm. Both the engines will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. The petrol and diesel variant will be offered in four trims namely K2, K4, K6 and K8 followed by K2+, K4+, K6+ and K8+ trims as their optional trims. The mini SUV will be offered in fascinating color combination comprising of Flamboyant Red, Designer Grey, Dazzling Silver, Fiery Orange, Pearl White, Aquamarine, and Midnight Black.
On the exteriors it will receive newly developed headlight moving ahead towards square shaped fog lamps, followed by sloping grille with logo of Mahindra mounted on it. The rear portion will receive conventional tail lights along with pillar mounted handles for rear door. Inside the cabin it bestows three spoke multifunctional steering wheel, bench seats for front passengers, vertical HVAC knobs integrated on centre console with two vents for AC. It will be also equipped with safety features like ABS, front dual air bags as standard feature on all models of this upcoming mini SUV.
