Mahindra Launches TUV300 Plus In The Indian Car Market
Home grown car maker Mahindra & Mahindra has added a new trim in its compact SUV TVU300 that is christened as TUV300 Plus and is priced is Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new trim has been introduced in the P4 variant and is capable of offering comfortable sitting experience to the nine passengers. According to sources the new TUV300 Plus has been developed to satisfy the driving needs of customers in rural market.
In its new avatar the compact SUV is 4,400 mm long, 1,835 mm broad and 1,812 mm tall and has the wheelbase similar to its elder sibling. On the exterior front it clearly exhibits both the C and D pillars. Under the hood, it is empowered with 2.2 litre mHawk 120 diesel engine that is capable of churning the power of 120 bhp and the torque of 280Nm at 4,000 rpm and 1,800-2,800 rpm respectively. The transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual transmission system.
Inside the cabin it is customized with vinyl seat upholstery, black interiors, fold-up side facing third row seats, four power windows, tilt power steering wheel, central locking system, air conditioner with heater, internally adjustable wing mirrors and two 12V mobile charging sockets. On the exterior front it adorns the features like body colored bumpers on both the front and rear side, black colored door handles and ORVM. It is offered in four colored options including Bold Black, Majestic Silver, Glacier White and Dynamic Red.
Along with these features it also sports the bunch of safety features like child locks, engine immobilizer and intrusion beams.
