Mahindra TUV 300: What we know so far?
Mahindra TUV 300 the upcoming SUV from domestic car Mahindra & Mahindra which earlier was promoted as an upgraded version of Bolero SUV is completely a new SUV that is expected to make its debut in Indian car market on September 10, 2015. The SUV has succeeded in grabbing the attention of Indian car enthusiasts and now everyone is keen to get new updates about the SUV. To begin with it would be enriched with 1.5 litre mHawk diesel engine with displacement capacity of 1498 cc boosting the power of 80 bhp and torque of 200 Nm. It is reported to deliver fuel efficient performance of 20 kmpl. It would be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system and offered with four wheel drive system. It is reported to be offered between price tag of Rs. 8.50 lakh to Rs. 13 lakh. (ex-showroom price). It would be a sub-four meter SUV that would carry same muscular body as offered in Bolero with seven seats capacity (including 5 adults and two jump seats). After launch it will compete against Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Ford EcoSport, and recently launched Creta from Hyundai.
Inside the cabin it will receive dual tone beige and black color treatment with chrome accents. The powered steering wheel has been developed to offer strong grip along with steering mounted controls making is easier for driver to retain proper control on various functionalities. The third row seats are offered with jump seats carried from Quanto. The jump seats seems to be offered for providing comfort traveling experience to children and pets (if any accompanying). The instrumental panel has been offered with speedometer, tachometer and multi-infotainment system. Other contemporary features offered inside the cabin are rotary controls of HVAC, three headrests for rear passengers, dual din audio system, electronic adjustable rear view mirrors, airbags, and many more. On the exteriors rear portion is expected to receive swept back tail lights along with spare wheel integrated on tailgate.
