Mahindra Quanto bookings crossed 5,000 mark within 3 weeks of launch

It seems like the Indian auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra has found the formula of success as every model it is rolling-out is achieving a runaway success in the Indian market. After huge success of their new generation Sports Utility Vehicle Mahindra XUV 500, the company’s sales counters are now filled with booking orders for their latest mini MPV Mahindra Quanto.

So far, the company has managed to receive as many 5000 booking orders for new Mahindra Quanto within just three weeks of its launch in the Indian market. The Quanto model is a mini MPV which is shelved in the price segment of Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 7.57 lakh. Within a few days of its launch, the Quanto website has over 2 million page views, with Quanto becoming a favorite on Twitter. More to the excitement, the Quanto model became the most searched vehicle on Google in India, a feat which has never been achieved by any Mahindra brand car.

Speaking on the overwhelming success of Quanto in the country, Pravin Shah, Mahindra & Mahindra’s Chief Executive - Automotive Division, said that it is a delight for the company that Mahindra Quanto has received 5000 booking orders within a short span of three weeks. He added that company believes that Quanto will be able to create a segment of its own with its unique value proposition.
 

Quanto model is powered by a 1.5 litre mCR100 engine which comes coupled with twin turbochargers and delivers a peak power of 100 bhp. The major attractions of Quanto include Digital Drive Assist System, Intellipark Reverse Assist, Micro Hybrid Start Stop System, 2-DIN music system with CD, MP3, USB & Aux-in, dual airbags, ABS (Antilock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), engine immobilizer, high speed warning, etc.
