Mahindra Reva NXR introduced in the political corridors
Mahindra Reva NXR displayed at the Auto Expo recently seems to have what the earlier Reva lacked, the looks, styling and above all performance. Schedule to launch this Diwali, the Mahindra Reva NXR is expected to transform mobility in India and will be bringing in a revolution that was long pending. Recently, Mahindra Reva NXR was in news following the use of the vehicle by veteran union minister for New and Renewable Energy, Farooq Abdullah. He has reportedly driven the Reva NXR to the prime minister’s office for a meeting and has advocated its features to the fellow ministers.

Green technology though finds much lesser space in the Indian car market but experts believe that there was an absence of a viable green technology in India. With the Reva NXR in, India will surely get an intra city small car. The union minister’s effort in publicizing the Reva NXR seems to be the efforts to incentivize green technology in India and Reva NXR will pioneer it.

The Reva NXR has the specification that will surely woo anyone who cares for the environment and needs a small car for intra city commutation. The "Earth's Favourite Electric car company" Reva NXR has a top speed of 104 kmph and it can go upto 160 km in a single charge. As compared to the earlier generation Reva, the new Reva is far more superior in quality and performance as well. Besides, the rear seats can now comfortably house two people compared to the cramped space at the rear in the earlier generation Reva.
The Reva NXR price in India is expected to be around Rs 4-5 lakh and is higher than even a premium hatchback. However for those who need to cut their fuel expenses drastically and also care for the environment, Reva NXR will be a great small car offering.
