Mahindra targets to sale 80K to 90K units of KUV100 every year

Domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra launched its first initiative of 2016 on January 15 named as KUV100. The sub compact SUV has been launched keeping in expectation of young car enthusiasts and therefore has been offered at competitive price of Rs. 4.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The compact SUV has succeeded in pleasing all the segments of industry and inspired from the over whelming response from car lover’s car maker is planning to sale out 80,000 to 90,000 units of KUV 100 every year. According to reports company is also planning to start its export from April. Well this is not an end with plans of M&M related with KUV100 as it is reported that with an objective to impress college going students company is also going to offer some interesting financial schemes. Apart from this company has also joined hands of online portal Flipkart to receive its bookings.

Mechanically KUV 100 has been offered in both newly developed mFalcon engine series of mFalcon G80 1.2 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 82 bhp and torque of 114Nm and mFlacon D75 diesel engine churning the power of 77 bhp and torque of 190Nm. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system delivering an average of 18.15 kmpl and 25.32 kmpl respectively.

The sub compact SUV has been launched to compete with Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Swift in fascinating passionate colors including Dazzling Silver, Designer Grey, Pearl White, Midnight Black, Fiery Orange and Flamboyant Ret. There will be over all four variants K2, K4, K6 and K8 followed by option of K2+, K4+, K6+ and K8+.
