Mahindra To Name Its XUV300 Based Vehicle As XUV300 Plus Or XUV400
The compact SUV XUV300 by the domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra received an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers. Inspired from the success enjoyed by this Ssang Yong Tivoli based compact SUV, the domestic car maker is going to bring its upgraded version in the form of seven seater vehicle followed by its electric version. An information regarding this was revealed by the company sources in front of European media revealing that the proposed vehicle would be launched sometime during the 2022. During the production phase it will be named as S204 and might be christened as XUV300 Plus or XUV400 at the time of its launch.

The proposed vehicle is expected to bridge the gap between XUV300 and XUV500 and will go against the likes of Tata Hexa, Honda BRV, recently launched Maruti Suzuki XL6 and Mahindra Marazzo. Under the hood it will be empowered with 1.5 litre GDI naturally aspirated, direct injection 4 cylinder petrol engine and mated with a six speed manual gearbox transmission system, this version will however be launched in the European car market.
As far as the looks of S204 aka XUV400 are concerned it will carry the same looks as offered in SsangYong Tivoli Air, but not its stretched version.It have the length of 4,440mm, width of 1,798mm, height of 1,635mm and wheelbase of 2,600m. Although, the wheelbase is similar to SsangYoung Tivoli, but still it carries an extended overhang at the rear portion for carrying the extra luggage.
Speaking about the features that would be adorned in the Mahindra XUV400, it is believed to receive leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system and many more.
