Mahindra XUV300 to be launched with its AMT version soon

In the last week, Mahindra Group has launched its wonder SUV with all new amenities and classiest features. Now soon in the coming month, Mahindra is coming up its AMT gearbox added to its portfolio. Earlier Mahindra XUV300 was launched with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard across the range. As per the media reports, Mahindra can debut XUV300 with AMT gearbox/ transmission as early as next month.

What will AMT transmission do?
The AMT transmission in Mahindra XUV300 will hold the fort till new upgrades by Mahindra to meet the BS-VI emission regulations. After this, the compact SUV XUV300 will get proper torque converter unit.

The turbocharged petrol engine can churn out 110 BHP of power along with 200 Nm of peak torque. While the diesel engine, on the other hand, is good for 115 BHP along with 300 Nm of peak torque. The fuel efficiency also differs in the figure for the petrol and diesel engines, where the petrol engine stand at 17Km/l with those of diesel engines standing at 20Km/l.

In the near future, the all-new XUV300 will be launchings its electric variant. The makers have officially confirmed this news during the launch of Mahindra XUV300 on 14th February 2019. The probable date for the launch of the all-electric variant of XUV will be launched in the Indian market during the second half of the year 2020.

 



All new Mahindra XUV300 falls in-between the price range of INR 7.9 lakh for the petrol variant and INR 11.9 lakh for the top-spec diesel trim. These prices are set accordingly to meet and target the competitors such as Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and the Tata Nexon.

Not only this, but the launch of Mahindra XUV300 and its AMT variant is ready for its fight against Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks.
