Maruti converting current Maruti swift bookings to revamped model
Maruti Suzuki will be launching the new Maruti Swift this year in August so; the customers who have already booked the current Maruti Swift Diesel will have a choice of shifting their existing bookings to the new Maruti swift. The Company has stopped production of the old Maruti Swift and has asked the dealers to give customers the choice so they do not have to make fresh bookings in case they are interested in the new model.
The revamped Maruti swift is an upgraded version of the current Maruti swift and comes after many improvements. The new Maruti swift will comprise of an improved 1.2 litre VVT engine with dual variable valve technology controlling both exhaust and intake valves of the engine, which will give a higher power output of 90 Bhp. Though, the diesel engine will remain the same 1.3 ltr Bhp Multijet Unit.
The new Maruti Swift will comprise of plastic fuel tanks in place of metal ones so it is expected to be lighter then the current model which will make it 10-15 percent more fuel efficient than the existing equivalent diesel and petrol models.
The boot of the New Maruti Swift has seen a major upgrade and the new Maruti Swift is expected to be more spacious than the current Maruti Swift. The engineers have also worked on new Maruti Swift’s look to make it more stylish yet keeping it close to the existing version.
The price of the facelifted Maruti Swift will be slightly higher than the existing Maruti Swift and it will be launched in August 2011. The new Maruti Swift is anticipated to be popular in Swift fans so, Maruti Suzuki is expected to produce enough Maruti Swifts as to fulfill market’s demand.
