Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 launched in new avatar, priced Rs. 3.06 lakh (ex-showroom price New Delhi)
Maruti Suzuki India Limited today launched the refreshed version of its best selling hatchback in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 3.06 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The new Alto K10 is the perfect match of style and power with improved fuel efficiency figure. The top end trim has been priced at Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi) making the hatchback as most low priced automatic hatchback available in Indian car market.

To begin with engine configuration the new Alto K10 continues with the same engine configuration as offered in the outgoing version of hatchback. This means the new Alto K10 also carries three cylinder, 1.0 litre K10 engine boosting the power of 67bhp and torque of 90Nm. The engine would be offered in both five speed manual transmission system and also with five speed automatic manual transmission system. But interestingly with an objective to offer fuel efficient performance MSIL has rejuvenated combustion and ECM system, as an impact of which new Alto K10 is endorsed to deliver an average of 24.07 kmpl (ARAI) improved.
Moving towards the cosmetic changes offered in upgraded Alto K10 includes enlarge headlamps, fog lamps placed at the beneath of newly developed front bumper, new grille with chrome strip followed by company’s badge on the exteriors of the car. The rear portion receives new tail lights, new bumper followed by chrome strip at the beneath of bootlid. Inside the cabin interiors receives completely new treatment with new steering wheel, improved upholstery, new dashboard and new instrument cluster. The USP of new Alto K10 is speculated to be its AMT version which is expected to place Alto K10 above its contenders.
