Maruti cars: the most trusted car brand in India
Maruti is the most trusted brand in India as per a recent survey by an independent body. The Indian car maker is followed by BMW, two-wheeler maker Hero Honda and Japanese car giants Toyota and Honda. The survey 'The Brand Trust Report, India Study 2012' compiled by Brand Trust Advisory, Maruti cars and Maruti as a brand has been designated as being the most trusted brand for Indians in the automotive sector. Credit it to the dependability and low-maintenance of Maruti cars, or that it is the most affordable car maker in India, Maruti yet again wins over the trust of millions of people.

Among other cars, Maruti Swift Dzire has been successful in securing the most trusted car title. Auto Experts believe that apart from Dzire, Maruti Swift and lately launched Maruti Alto K10 were also quite popular among people. Maruti has been able to secure the top automotive brand position in India despite the production hiccups and dwindling sales last year.

Among the luxury car brands India, German car maker BMW has proved itself and has secured the first place and became the most trust luxury car maker. Hyundai Motor which is considered the second largest car maker in the country could not secure its place in even the top ten list.

The report also has released data related to most trusted fashion brand is Armani followed by Gucci and Diesel. Lux was rated top among consumer products, Pepsi in food and beverage. While Tata has been voted the most diversified business house in India with Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata as top business personality. LG grappled the number one position in consumer durables, while Aptech comes first in education sector. The survey was conducted from mid of 2011 to November last year and there were 17,000 brands that were taken into account for the top lists.
