Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol on the Cards of MSIL
After Baleno hatchback, compact SUV Vitara Brezza has played a vital role in retaining the top position of Indo-Japanese car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited in Indian car market. According to recent industry buzz the Indian arm of Suzuki Motors is going to bring the petrol variant of compact Vitara Brezza soon in the Indian car market, might be during the first quarter of next year. Launched during the month of March this year in diesel variant, Vitara Brezza succeed in receiving an overwhelming respond from Indian buyers and garnered more than 1.72 lakh bookings.

Now according to recent reports the company has ramped up the process of introducing the petrol variant soon in Indian car market. Reports reveal that the petrol unit under production is empowered with 1.5 litre petrol engine that would be capable of boosting the power of 100 b hp and mated with five speed manual gearbox and also with an option of automatic gearbox. It is also rumoured that MSIL might also offer the option of 1.0 litre BoosterJet in petrol variant of Vitara Brezza. It is believed that the price of petrol variant will be lower than the diesel variant. The diesel variant sports 200 DDiS 1248cc diesel engine that churns the power of 88.5 bhp and torque of 200Nm, and mated with five speed manual gearbox and delivers an average of 24.3 kmpl.
The major features offered in diesel Vitara Brezza include dual colored exterior available with option of six colors, reverse parking camera, electronic foldable ORVMs integrated turn indicators, projector headlamps, cooled glove box, smartplay infotainment system, and cruise control. The list of safety features include airbag, ABS+EBD and few more.
