Mercedes Benz launches S350 CDI with starting price of Rs. 1.07 crore (ex-showroom price)
German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz has launched the new S350 CDI in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 1.07 crore (ex-showroom price in Maharashtra). The S350 CDI 2014 is energized with V6 3.0 litre diesel engine generating the power of 254 bhp and torque of 620 Nm and is coated with 7G Tronic Plus automatic gearbox which transits the power to rear wheels. The luxurious saloon sedan is blessed with AIRMATIC suspension system with Magic Body Control system. It carries most of its features from its elder sibling S500 alongwith Burmester sound system. It would not be wrong to say that new S350 CDI is miles ahead from elder siblings of S Class sedan.
One feature which especially needs to be mentioned about new Mercedes Benz S350 CDI is that it comes loaded with huge fleet of various remarkable safety features including eight airbags, cornering control system, adaptive brake HOLD function and ASR. The sedan would be locally assembled at company production plant located at Chakan, where company is already producing its petrol variant.
Addressing the launch event of S350CDI, Mr.Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes Benz India said, that S Class has enjoyed huge success across the world including Indian car market. Company is overwhelmed on introducing the new S350 CDI from its production unit plant at Chakan. He also added the team constituted for development of S Class is constituted by group of expert and with launch of this new S350 CDI they are confident that it will set new landmark in Indian car market satisfying the different needs of car aspirants.
