Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine – Pranab Mukherjee’s new car
The omnipresent Hindustan Ambassador that accompanied the recently elected President Pranab Mukherjee since his parliamentarian days has been bid good-bye. The new ride of the president of India now is the very stylish and chic, Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine. This new ride of President Mukherjee oozes out luxury from every angle. The car is a total contrast to its previous ride, Hindustan Ambassador. The only thing that is common between the two cars is their good dimensions.
The Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine has a good stretched out wheelbase and has been well-equipped with ample of luxury and safety features. Due to the safety reasons, we haven’t been able to get all the safety features installed and fitted into the car, but the car does come with some heavy duty security features. Some of the major ones comprise of AK47 shells, Grenades, full bullet proof body, run flat tyres, 90 litres of fuel tank and fresh air system that pumps in oxygen in case emergency. Moreover, the Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine comes with some serious armoring, which makes the limousine heavier than a regular one.
Talking about the luxury features of the Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine, the car has ample of space inside. The passenger cabin of the car has 2+2 seats facing each other and the 115cm longer wheelbase, a total of 431cm wheelbase makes the interiors furthermore roomier and spacious. The air conditioning system, airbags, electrically assisted power steering etc remains to be standard.
As far as the engine is concerned, Mercedes Benz S600L Pullman Limousine sports the 5.5 litre of twin turbo petrol engine that produces 515BHP of maximum power. While we are on the subjet, this car was first custom-made for Mrs. Pratibha Patil, but instead she continued with the Mercedes Benz S-Class that she inherited from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.
