New Honda Jazz launch confirmed in 2015
It is reported that Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Vice-President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Limited, has confirmed that their Japanese alliance Honda Motors will bring the all new Honda Jazz hatchback to Indian car market next year. This was disclosed by Mr. Sen yesterday at the launch of new MPV Mobilio by the car marker. The next generation hatchback Jazz would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants and was showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014.

Overwhelmed from the warm welcome to Mobilio from prospective buyers and going through the booking figures of Mobilio till date, Mr. Sen said that with competitive price tag company expects that number of booking will enhance in coming days. Moving ahead while discussing the company’s future plans Mr. Sen said that at present company has no plans to bring its cross-over based on Brio’s platform due to tough competition in Indian car market. However he also added that company will decide its strategy according to existing market conditions. Mr. Sen also added that company does not have any plan to bring Vezel/ HR-V to Indian car market due to its high price, as it would not be feasible for company to bring such premium SUV in India.
Industry experts believe that now Honda’s next target would be re-introducing the Accord back in Indian car market successfully. It is expected that company will launch the new Accord in both petrol and diesel variant especially in current scenario when Indian car market is becoming diesel centric market. The car maker will not launch the hybrid version of Accord which was showcase during the Indian Auto Expo 2014.
