New Hyundai Santa Fe images come up, reveals Storm Edge design
The new avatar in the Hyundai stable and this time the new Hyundai Santa Fe is on its way. Recently two teasers by Hyundai revealing the new Hyundai Santa Fe features and design styling were out. The new Santa Fe SUV will be launched at the upcoming New York Auto Show next month. Both the images suggest that the new Santa Fe will be clad in ‘Storm Edge’ and contrary to its existing styling; the new Hyundai car will have the ingredients of becoming a popular SUV in India. The Rs 21 lakh SUV has seen some significant development in sales recently after the overall market buying improved.

Among the looks and exterior features of the new generation Santa Fe is a new hexagonal grille at the front with a prominently visible crease along the doors from front to the rear. The rear wheel has an extra crease over the arch possibly in order to step up the sporty image of the Santa Fe. Based on Storm Edge design, the new Santa Fe is the first SUV by the Korean car maker in India. It is believed that the new design proportions of the Santa Fe 2012 will be influencing the other Hyundai SUVs as well. Looking closely at the design, the Santa Fe appears to have sharp edges compared to the new SUV Hyundai ix35.

With the change in appearance, Hyundai believes that it will also bring in fresh response from the SUV buyers across globe and help the SUV fight better with BMW X3 and Land Rover Freelander. The Korean is believed to preserve the same engine configuration for the new 2012 Santa Fe as well. Carrying the new looks and exterior styling, the new Santa Fe will be the third generation of this SUV.
