New Hyundai Santa Fe launch in January next year
The SUV by the Koreans – Hyundai Santa Fe will have a new avatar in 2013. Coming this January, the all new Santa Fe will have a major facelift. Not just that there will be some cosmetic changes; there will also be an extension to the wheelbase and the body will be made lighter than the present model. It is said that this model will debut in China in January and it will have a 3 L GDi engine option. The new model is believed to add to the already successful innings in which over 3.6 million Santa Fe were sold since its world launch in the last two years.

Back in India, the new Santa Fe has already attracted new buyers and its price that starts at Rs 22.34 lakh is seen as affordable sensing the true SUV features it offers. In India, the Hyundai SUV has bagged many prestigious awards such as SUV of the year and others only because of its sheer size, features and affordable price. In India, the Santa Fe SUV competes with Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Captiva and the recently introduced premium SUV Mahindra Rexton. What the Santa Fe cashes on is its features and the safety first proposition. The base model of the car that starts at Rs 22.34 lakh has 6 air bags as standard besides ABS, EBD and a lot of stability and other features.

In China, the new Santa Fe’s longer wheelbase model will be introduced and this car will have a lot of features that is going to stun the dragon nation as well. Compared to the present version, the new generation Santa Fe will have 120 kg less weight and it will be able offer a decent mileage with that. The all new blind spot detection technology will also have its place in the new model.
