New Hyundai Santa Fe launched
Hyundai Santa Fe has received a facelift in South Africa and India is probably the next destination for this launch. The new model of the SUV is available in five seat and seven seat models and it will be able to transform the entire segment in the new market. The new design philosophy known as the Storm Edge Design is vociferously used on the new SUV Santa Fe. Bigger in size, more appealing in looks, the new Santa Fe is one of the most popular SUV by Hyundai. In India, this is the sole SUV by the Korean car maker but it is still awaiting some tremendous response.
With the increase in size, there is more legroom for the occupants as well as there is more stability and performance to the car. The 2.2 L diesel engine that powers the car is a 194 bhp engine and this is an engine that gives the car the much needed power and performance. The same engine powers all the variants and is the most powerful engine under the hood of any of the other rivals SUVs in the segment. The rugged and the segment leader Toyota Fortuner that has got a facelift recently is already enjoying the largest share followed by other SUVs such as Chevrolet Captiva and Mitsubishi Pajero besides Ford Endeavour.
The car also has high mileage as compared to other cars in the segment. The new model of the car has lots of changes and with these changes on, the car is available in three variants and makes it a car that is now much more appealing than any other rival car. The new Santa Fe is expected to be launched in the country this Diwali as prior to this car, the Korean car maker could launch an under four meter SUV and a Maruti Ertiga rival MPV.
