New Hyundai Santa Fe showcased at LA, India launch soon
The brand new Hyundai Santa Fe SUV was showcased at the Los Angeles Motor Show yesterday. Showcasing this SUV at LA has sent a rush of enthusiasm to the Indian consumers as the India launch of the car is expected very soon. However, no official word has been received by Hyundai India about new Santa Fe launch in the Indian car bazaar, but hopefully this won’t be delayed much. The existing model of Santa Fe in India has been doing quite a great business and with the next generation model in the pipeline, the company can expect the business to go up on the ladder very soon. Before, Hyundai Santa Fe came in India; Hyundai India had already tried its hands in the premium SUV segment with Hyundai Tuscon and Hyundai Terracan SUVs, which were pretty much forgetful.

The new Hyundai Santa Fe displayed at the LA Auto show is terrific in overall presence. The Storm Edge Design of Hyundai made the car stand out in the crowd. It is definitely way better and enhanced as compared to the on sale model of the car. According to the grapevine, Hyundai India is pretty sure that the car will be launched in India very soon and take the premium SUV segment by storm. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe could be expected with a 3..3 litre GDI engine producing 290 horsepower, active cornering control AWD system, driver selectable steering mode, six speed automatic transmission, heated steering wheel and rear seats, panoramic sunroof, power driver and passengers seats, power liftgate, third gen navigation and audio multimedia system, seven standard airbags and more.

The fresh reports in the market suggest that the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe might hit the Indian shores by mid 2013 and would be accompanied by a price tag around Rs 23 to 25 lakh.
