Now that it has finally broken its covers, the auto enthusiasts have taken a sigh of relief. Apart from other changes, the most prominent feature of the new Santa Fe is its changed looks. Hyundai Motor has though preserved the 2.2 L engine that powers the current generation as well. There must be one high power engine also on cards as it has been spied recently. The 2.2 Gamma diesel engine is both high on performance and fuel economy. Santa Fe is also available in a 2L 150PS avatar. The 2.2 L engine delivers a peak power of 200 PS and is mated to a six speed automatic transmission while the 2L engine has a six speed manual transmission box fitted. The new Santa Fe is not all about looks and it has some realtime safety features as well. ABS, ESP and stability features, besides hill hold and hill descent control features are worth it.
