New Maruti Swift launch in Nepal after Holi
The Maruti's flagship and most admired car in India- the Maruti Swift is going to be launched in Nepal just after the Holi festival in India. Two petrol models of the Swift car will be launched there initially, while the diesel Maruti Swift hit the Nepali market very soon. The India made Swift is reported to be priced competitively. The company is going to offer VXI as the low end and the ZXI as the high end variant.

The present authorized distributor of Maruti Suzuki cars, Arun Intercontinental Traders (AIT) has plotted the idea of launching this premium hatchback in two variants for the Nepal automobile arcade. The new Maruti Swift will have a 1.2-litre petrol engine of 1,197cc that churns a maximum power of 87PS and highest torque of 114Nm. Teaming the engine with five-speed gearbox that is different from the older transmission methodology is expected to return outstanding performance.

Mr. Uttam Gupta, the denoted senior manager of sales at AIT reportedly stated that they are launching the petrol variant of the new Swift in Nepal this month and would eventually bring the diesel variant too in a short span of time. He stated that the older model of Maruti Swift held a big clutch of sales in the domestic market and with the introduction of the new Maruti Swift; they also predict a victorious sales this year. Reportedly, AIT has a goal to sell more than 400 units of the new Swift by the end of the initial year of launch.
