New Porsche Cayman S priced at Rs 92.28 lakh
Porsche India has finally launched the 2013 Porsche Cayman S in the country. The next generation version of the supercar is priced at Rs 92.28 lakh (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). The company has already displayed the 2013 Cayman S at the 2012 LA Auto Show and now the beast has finally been offered to the Indian customers with a competitive price. The new avatar of the supercar is reported more fuel efficient, more powerful, faster and lighter than the existing model.

Already, the supercar maker has offered the next generation version of the 911 Carrera and Boxster S. The new version of the Cayman S is up to 30 kg lighter than its old model. It comes loaded with a powerful 3.4-litre flat-six cylinder motor that generates max power of 325PS. The oil burner is mated to Porsche’s most advanced PDK dual-clutch gearbox. Along with tremendous power, pick-up and acceleration of the vehicle are also awesome. The new Cayman S is promised to catch speed of 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. Meanwhile the top speed is 281 kmph.
In Indian domestic auto market, the new Porsche Cayman S is major rival of Mercedes Benz S Class, Jaguar XK and Jaguar XJ in terms of pricing, features, specifications and performance. Including, Cayman supercar, Porsche India offers 911, Boxster, Cayenne and Panamera to the Indian customers. And now, the company is aiming to pull out max to max customers in domestic market with this new model.
