Porsche 718 Cayman enters the production unit
German luxurious car maker Porsche has commenced the production of new 718 Cayman scheduled for launch during September 2016. The new Porsche 718 Cayman undergoes various cosmetic upgrades on both exterior and interior along with changes under bonnet. Mechanically it now sports four cylinder turbo petrol engine empowered in two variants with different tunes.
The 718 Cayman receives 2.0 litre four cylinder boxer engine that generates the power of 296 bhp whereas 718 Cayman S is empowered with 2.5 litre engine that boosts the power of 345 bhp. The 2.0 litre engine offered in 718 Cayman replaces the existing 2.7 litre engine while the new 2.5 litre has been introduced to replace the erstwhile 3.4 litre engine. The newly introduced engine line-up generates 25bhp additional power.
The combination of PDK and Sport Chrono package helps the car to hit the mark from standstill to 100 kmph in period of mere four seconds and touches the top notch of 283 kmph. Inside the cabin you will find features like connect module with Porsche car connect, Apple CarPlay that supports connectivity with USB and navigation system with voice control followed by real time traffic information.
