New Renault Twingo price and specs reveled
French car maker Renault has unveiled the price and specification of the new Renault Twingo small car in United Kingdom. The model will be starting at £10,350 (around Rs 8 lakh). The small car will be powered by a 1.2L engine and will be up for sale in UK next month. The car has been of much importance for India as the country is a tremendous market for small cars. Recently, there were reports that Renault India could add new Twingo to its present line up of Renault Fluence sedan, Renault Duster and Renault Koleos SUVs and the recently launched Nissan Micra based small car Renault Pulse.

As per sources, the new version of the small car Renault Twingo is available for test drive at various company dealerships in UK. If we look at the changes in the new Renault Twingo, there is overall improved styling of the car along with both the bumpers revised from scratch. The tailgate as well as the tail lamp has also received a makeover. Apart from this, the new Renault Twingo now has better infotainment features with an iPod, iPhone connectivity option on the music system besides a climate controlled air conditioning and other features.

Senior vice-president of corporate design Laurens van den Acker had reportedly termed the Renault’s small car as having sensuous styling and seductive appeal and the new Twingo has both these in toto. The Renault Twingo will be sold with the Renault 4+ scheme in which the customers get a four year or 1 lakh mile warranty apart from a free servicing for four years and roadside assistance.
In India, Renault could bring the small car Twingo and place it alongside Renault Pulse which was launched recently at the Auto Expo. However, Renault could wait for some more time for the brand to settle in India.
