New Volkswagen Touareg V6 diesel starting at Rs 42 lakh!
Volkswagen must have sensed that it should also launch a makeover of Volkswagen Touareg when a lot of SUVs are coming to India at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. The new Volkswagen Touareg V6 diesel will replace the Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDI. Sources have revealed that VW could price the new Touareg comparatively less than the outgoing model. As per the latest updates, new Volkswagen Touareg V6 diesel price could land somewhere around Rs 42 lakh which is much below than the current price of around Rs 51.8 lakh.

This will be almost after a period of two years that VW has given a thought to the Touareg V6. Once launched the new version of the Touareg V6 will replace the old one. As per the latest information about it, the Touareg V6 new generation SUV was caught in the camera while it was in its testing phase in Pune. The car is being tested for maneuverability and other new features added to it.
Earlier it was believed that the Touareg will be arriving in its hybrid form that runs on petrol besides having BlueMotion and other latest invents fitted in it. But even after a long wait, Volkswagen did not do anything to the Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDI.

The new Volkswagen Touareg V6 diesel which shares its platform with Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne, is lighter by 208kgs than the existing model and will be much more fuel efficient as well. It is also believed that the new Volkswagen Touareg V6 will also have much improved SUV features and we will be able to see the 4Motion all-wheel drive in its truest form in this long touring car. Despite the fact that VW Touareg has all the on road - off road capabilities it could not click much and was sold in limited numbers only.
