Next generation Ford Endeavour aka Everest spotted in Australia
Ford Australia, the Australian alliance of Ford is going through the test drive of generation next Endeavour aka Everest in Australia. The SUV was showcased during the recently concluded 35th Bangkok International Motor Show. The SUV is reported to replace the existing Endeavour from Indian car market and also from few car markets of Asia. The first look of generation next Endeavour aka Everest leaves an impression of modified version of Endeavour as it carries most of its clues from existing model of Endeavour. However the model spotted in Australia has been developed strictly according to Australian car market.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned it is speculated that Everest concept will carry the same 3.0 TDCI engine from Endeavour. However it is expected that in Australia it may equip 2.2 litre diesel engine which is offered in Ranger. The 3.0 TDCI engine will develop the power of 150 bhp and torque of 3754 Nm.
Talking about the cosmetic changes offered in upcoming Everest concept are concerned, nothing could be witnessed by the spies as the vehicle was camouflaged but still they succeeded in noticing trapezoidal Aston Martin grille followed by newly designed bumper integrating fog lamps. Physically the SUV carries the same looks as of Endeavour and was similar to one showcased during the Bangkok Motor Show 2014.
