Nissan Evalia electric ready to rock Barcelona
Nissan Evalia or NV 200 as it is also known is all set to rock the taxi segment in Spain. This multi utility vehicle has literally given a tough fight to Toyota Innova in India that was considered to be invincible for quite some time. But Evalia and Maruti Ertiga have clearly dethroned it and have surpassed Innova sales in India cumulatively. It is believed that just as Evalia has become the favorite in the passenger mover segment and utility van segment in the US, so will it gain popularity in the Spanish market. In India, the Nissan Evalia price starts at Rs 8.4 lakh. The deliveries of the Evalia car have begun already and now it was after a long time that something big with lots and lots of space to stretch inside has arrived in India where till now small cars have ruled. In Spain, the electric version of Evalia – e-NV200 will be launched.
Following its large size, economical engine and large storage space, Evalia has been one of the best cars suited for commercial segment. As a personal car as well, it suits the purpose of being a big family car wherein even two generation families can move together with their bags and baggage. Now that it is all set to stun the Spanish market with its large space and highly frugal engine, it is highly anticipated that it will lead the race there as well. Since the electric version will be launched there, the car will be another breakthrough in this segment after the Nissan Leaf.

The e-NV200 that will be launched in Barcelona will be produced at the Nissan plant locally and this is said to in consonance with the zero pollution norms next generation strategy adopted by the country. The car has already been unveiled in Barcelona and it is said that after the successful tenure in here, it will be launched in US as well.
