Nissan Evalia gets 160 units of bookings

Nissan India seems to be proud and very happy about its new baby Nissan Evalia. The car maker launched the MPV recently in the Indian car bazaar and since then it has been being appreciated not only by the critics but the Indian car consumers as well. With the recent release of Nissan sales of September 2012, the sales have gone up by a whopping 64.24%. We would say that the major credit behind this enormous figure is Nissan Evalia. The MPV has managed to get 160 bookings across the country in such a short period of time.

Even its hatchback wonder, Nissan Micra and stylish sedan, Nissan Sunny have also a part in the successful victory here. Both the cars have cumulatively pulled the sales up to 3567 units in September, which is certainly amazing.

Coming back to Nissan Evalia, the MPV is a star today. The car doesn’t need a reason to touch the sky, as it has been filled with so many advanced features and a power-packed diesel engine that takes away the cake. The car has been powered by 1.5 litre of K9K diesel engine that comes from Renault-Nissan family. this turbocharged diesel motor is capable of churning out maximum power of 85PS at 3750rpm along with producing high torque of 200Nm at 2000rpm. the five speed manual transmission mated with the engine is perfect as it makes the MPV to deliver a superb fuel efficiency of 19.3kmpl. The comfort features here are impressive, while the rear sliding door for easy entry and exit for the rear seat passengers is ideal. This new MPV has been reasonably priced adding on to the charm on the vehicle.
