Nissan Evalia launch date confirmed, coming on September 25

Nissan India is all set to bring in its most awaited MPV, Nissan Evalia in the Indian car bazaar on 25th of September 2012. Nissan is undoubtedly very excited for the launch. With Evalia, Nissan would step in for the first time in the MPV segment, which is currently being dominated by Toyota Innova, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Mahindra Xylo. There are many things that would make this new MPV different from other MPVs that are available in the market today. the first thing that you would notice is that Evalia has sliding rear doors, that makes it very easy for the passengers to access the third row.

At the 11th Auto Expo that was held in January 2012 in New Delhi, Nissan Evalia manage to fetch a lot of positive reviews and the credit goes to its spacious, comfortable and roomy interiors. The car can fit in seven adults with utmost ease and comfort. The middle row here has more room than other MPVs and the boot space is luxurious and ample.

Talking about the technicalities, the new Nissan Evalia will come fitted with a very fuel efficient diesel engine that would give out a superb mileage of 19.3kmpl, which is quite more than what is offered by Toyota Innova (11.8kmpl). Therefore, one thing can be assured that in the era of sky rocketing petrol prices, this fuel economic engine would surely not burn a hole in consumer’s pocket.

The price tag is also expected to be very economic. According to the fresh reports, Nissan Evalia price will land around Rs. 8 to 10 lakh, which certainly puts it out as a strong competitor in the MPV segment of the Indian car bazaar.
