Nissan Evalia launched today at Rs 8.49 lakh

The new Nissan car – Nissan Evalia has finally arrived and its arrival could mark the downslide of all other MPV sales. Already a brand known for dependability and value for money proposition – Nissan has its decent presence in the country and it has been lately strengthened by the Nissan Sunny sedan that really sell well. Prior to that the Nissan Micra sales gave a fresh beginning to the car maker in India and made way for other Nissan cars to enter the country. The Nissan Evalia launch has reiterated Nissan’s commitment towards India and it has also ascertained the Japanese car maker’s presence in the MPV segment. The Evalia will also be giving a tough blow to Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Xylo sales besides doing some damage to Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3. The Nissan Evalia price in India starts at Rs 8.49 lakh for the entry level XE variant while the top of the line model XV with lots of features and gizmos is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.

The new car designed traditionally with five doors with two sliding door facilitating entry and exit as well as loading and unloading will be a big plus for it. Besides, the Evalia is known and preferred for it mammoth space inside world over. There is enough elbow, shoulder and lots of leg space for the occupants as there is no dearth of space inside it following its big size. India has always lacked an entirely big MPV like Evalia. Though the Tata Winger and Tata Venture are there in this segment but these are more so commercial vehicles than personal cars. Nissan also has plans to launch the commercial version of the Evalia and it will name it Ashok Leyland Stile.

Meanwhile, Nissan had already shown the Evalia to the press earlier and had lately started booking the car. The booking amount was kept at Rs 1 lakh and deliveries will begin today onwards. It is expected that the Evalia will be a hot favorite of Indian who travel a lot and who need a multi purpose vehicle that can also solve their purpose of daily commuting with some stuff at the rear. Meanwhile, the Evalia will be a great car for those who are behind the wheels always and Nissan proposes that this car will take away the hassles and imbibe ease and convenience to the journey.
