Nissan Evalia launched in Mumbai at Rs 8.49 lakh

It seems that Maruti Ertiga’s honeymoon period is over as the mammoth sized real multi utility car Nissan Evalia has been launched in the country. Starting at Rs 8.49 lakh in New Delhi, the car promises both extra space and power. This car will be giving a tough time to Mahindra Xylo, Toyota Innova and Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 which were already feeling the heat due to the Ertiga launch in the country. The Nissan Evalia launched today in Mumbai at a price tag of Rs 8.49 lakh for the XE model while the top of the line model Evalia XV price is Rs 9.99 lakh. Surprisingly, prices remain the same for Delhi and Navi Mumbai buyers!

Offering 19.3 kmpl mileage and 85 PS under the hood, the new Nissan car is all set to rock the MUV market in India. The timing too is perfect and the automobile industry pundits predict a hectic delivery schedule for Nissan. It may be possible that the Evalia could match Nissan Micra’s record and becomes the best selling Nissan car in the country. And why not when the car has lot to offer and that too at just Rs 8.49 lakh ex showroom Delhi price. Apart from the space inside, even the third row passengers feel they are not neglected and they too have the best in class head space, leg space and elbow room. With this, over eight people can sit inside the Evalia comfortable, though the company proposes it to be a seven seater car.

The Evalia could be the best option for those who move in numbers and have a lot of luggage as well as the car offers luggage space even with the third row occupants seated. This said, it could possibly be the best in class luggage space car and with the third row seats down, the luggage space is certainly the highest. Also the presence of sliding door for the entry and exit at the rear is convenient.
